Atlas Corps is seeking the Middle East and North Africa’s best emerging business and social change leaders to apply for the Atlas Corps Fellowship. Are you ready to develop your leadership skills and join a global network of inspiring individuals?
The Atlas Corps Enterprise Fellows Initiative will bring 30 emerging leaders from the Middle East and North Africa (with a focus on Tunisia and Palestine) to serve in 12-month professional placements in the U.S. Traditionally Atlas Corps places at major social change organizations like Ashoka, the UN Foundation and the World Wildlife Fund, but for this initiative most placements will be at major companies like American Express, Facebook and LinkedIn. For example, here is the position description for the role we are trying to fill at Facebook http://bit.ly/FellowAtFacebook
All candidates must have a college degree, 2-10 years of experience, be proficient in English and be 23-35 years old. Ideal candidates will have experience or demonstrated interest in both the private and nonprofit sectors and interested in returning home after 12-18 months to address critical social issues in their countries.
This prestigious fellowship includes health insurance, enrollment in Atlas Corps Global Leadership Lab (including training and a certificate from Georgetown University), flight and visa costs, and a living stipend to cover very basic expenses (food, local transportation, and shared housing). To be considered for fellowships beginning in 2017, we encourage applications by December 19.
